Join Etz Chaim congregant, Alberto Sapoznik for The History of Cuban Jews Through My Eyes Mondays, July 20 and 27, at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom.
Hear the immigrant story of Sapoznik's journey from Belarus to Cuba, then, to the United States by way of Ellis Island. 
You will learn about the Jewish presence in Cuba, both Ashkenazi and Sepharadim, and the number of Jews in Cuba around 1959
during the time of the Revolution when Communism and rule of Castro begin.
This story should resonate with many. Every immigrant has their story. I hope you will join me as I our share our family's journey.
