Mazal Tov to the new co-chairs of the Atlanta Israel Bond Advisory Board!
Helene and Phil Jacoby are the new co-chairs of the Atlanta Israel Bond Advisory Board. In their new role, they will work with the Israel Bond organization and the Jewish community of Greater Atlanta to promote sales of Israel Bonds in support of the State of Israel.
Buying an Israel Bond is not a donation, it is an investment in the State of Israel. Since the first bond issued in 1951, worldwide sales have exceeded 48 billion dollars, with no defaults. Bond proceeds have played a decisive role in Israel’s rapid evolution into a global leader in technology. They are used for infrastructure and economic growth.
Bond rates are high, easy to purchase, and make great gifts as well as investments. Current rates on some bonds exceed 5%. It is easy to open an account and buy bonds online.
